The Vacuum and The Snugli

Yesterday Andy was getting ready to vacuum the living room rug and I told him, "before you turn it on, let me pick up Bailey because the vacuum scares her" (she was on the floor just playing with toys). Well, Andy wanted to see for himself. He turned on the vacuum and sure enough, it scared the pants off of her. Andy said that he was going to try and desensitize her to the vacuum, so he picked her up and held her while vacuuming.
Below are a couple pics of Daddy "desensitizing" Bailey.
I have to admit, she didn't cry while he held her. I think he should try holding her while doing everything around the house:)
The weather has been pretty decent here the past couple of days, so we pulled out the Snugli baby carrier that we forgot we even had and went for a couple walks.
First, we wanted to make sure we knew how to strap Bailey in correctly and to make sure she would fit!
Yep, fits well.
"Uh guys, can we go now? I'm getting tired of just sitting here."
"Please"
Ok, we're off.

Away we go into the sunset. She really liked it, but Bailey has always liked being in anything that is moving; the car, stroller, bouncy seat, etc.
This picture is just for fun. Andy took it of her sitting in her high chair the other day and I just thought it was cute!

Cute pics Jill. My boys LOVE the vacuum! They are maniacs. They run around and beg me to suck them up in it. :) Guess that is the difference in boys and girls.
Hint with the food... try just mixing a little fruit in with her cereal instead of just straight fruit. That might help. Sawyer never really liked babyfood. All he ever wanted was a Redamak's cheeseburger. :) Come to think of it, that sounds pretty good to me too!
